We are replacing the existing water mains and renewing service pipes that lead up to the boundaries of properties in Harlton, Little Eversden and Haslingfield.
When and where will the work take place?
Hartlon
Work began on Washpit Lane in Harlton on 6 October, and was completed on 2 November.
Little Eversden
Work on Harlton Road in Little Eversden started on 27 October and took place for a duration of eight weeks.
Haslingfield
We will begin work in Haslingfield on 5 January 2026, starting on Hartlon Road and Church Street for four weeks, and then Barton Road from 2 February to 12 April 2026.
Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion.
Will traffic be affected?
To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to put in the following road closures and traffic management:
Whilst Harlton Road is closed, a suitable diversion route will be in place via the A603, B1046, Church Lane, The Green, Tinkers Lane, Kingston Road, High Street and Church Street.
Access to frontages will be maintained throughout the duration of the works, and suitable diversion routes will be in place.
