1. The Promoter
1.1 - The promoter is South Staffordshire Water Plc, a company registered in England with company number 02662742, whose registered office is at Green Lane, Walsall, WS2 7PD.
2. Eligibility
2.1 - This competition, ‘Win a water butt for your garden’, is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2 - Employees of South Staffordshire Plc, its subsidiaries, their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
3.1 - The competition will run from 3pm on Friday 7 November to 11:59pm on Thursday 13 November (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2 - To enter the competition, participants must comment on the competition post on the Cambridge Water Facebook page, answering the question given in the post.
3.3 - There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
3.4 – Only one entry per person is permitted
4. The Prize
4.1 - The prize is a 200-litre Cloudburst Water Butt Kit.
4.2 - The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.
4.3 - The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
5. The Winners and Notification
5.1 - One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.
5.2 - The winner will be notified via Facebook through a direct message within 24 hours of the draw.
5.3 - The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.4 - If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
6.1 - By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal data (name and contact details) for the purpose of administering the competition.
6.2 - Data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
6.3 - Personal data will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law or necessary for prize fulfilment.
6.4 - Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the competition and will then be securely deleted.
6.5 - Participants have the right to access, rectify, or erase their data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact GDPRenquiries@south-staffs-water.co.uk.

7. General
7.1 - This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
7.2 - By entering, participants release Facebook from any liability arising in connection with the competition.
7.3 - The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms where necessary due to events outside of its control.
7.4 – These terms are governed by English law and entrants agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
