We're working in partnership with other utilities to provide services for the new village hall and nursery in Cottenham.

We will be carrying out a new water main connection on Lambs Lane, Cottenham to  provide water to the new village hall. To minimise disruption we are working in partnership with other utility companies, so that all new connections can be carried out during a single road closure. This will allow for water, gas and telecomms to be connected in one visit, limiting the level of disruption to residents.

When?

The work will start on Monday 24 August 2020 and will take up to five days to complete.

Will traffic be affected?

In order to complete the work in a safe manner, a road closure will be in place from the junction of High Street to the junction of Rampton Road. Access to frontages and a suitable diversion will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
