Planning a new development
Waterwise East aims to improve water efficiency across the East of England through working with developers, planners and other water stakeholders.
Its Water Efficient Buildings website supports anyone involved in the production of a new building (developers, housing associations, planners, self-builders, architects etc) to understand the need for water efficiency, complying with legislation and most importantly how to deliver water efficient buildings that work for the end consumer.
The site has information on achieving Code for Sustainable Homes ratings, best practice, water-efficient product listings, householder attitudes to water efficiency and much more.
