- Water
If you do have a water meter you pay:
1) A standing charge, which is the same for all households; and
2) A charge based on the amount of cubic metres of water you have used (a cubic metre of water is equivalent to 1000 litres). You will be billed every six months

- Sewerage
Sewerage services are provided by Anglian Water. It collects, treats and disposes of sewerage and surface water and Cambridge Water collects the charges on its behalf. You only need to pay these charges if your property receives these services.

- When to pay your bill
If you have a water meter your bill will be issued:
- Half yearly or
- Quarterly if the annual consumption regularly exceeds 4000 cubic metres
The bill should be paid
- Within 14 days of receipt
- In monthly instalments
- In more frequent instalments, such as weekly or fortnightly by prior arrangement
