We have launched a new scheme designed to supply cash to good causes operating within our area of supply.

Every quarter we will be giving away up to £3000.

This will be split between a number of causes, or, in exceptional circumstances, may be allocated to one particularly deserving scheme or environmental improvement.

Members of our staff will also be able to volunteer to help out in the community.

Cambridge Water Communications manager, Annalise Lister, said: “We are really excited about the launch of the new fund. Organisations and community groups will be able to apply for a grant which can make a real difference to an existing or planned project or perhaps inspire the launch of a new one.

“In particular we will be looking to supply schemes that make a real difference to the communities they serve. We will also favour initiatives that have a positive impact on the environment.

“Alongside the money, Cambridge Water staff will also be able to volunteer their time to help with a particular project or initiative for the equivalent of two days every month.”

Anyone who would like to request a grant or donation, or ask for a volunteer to support their cause, should make an application to the Cambridge Water Donations and Grants Committee. Please contact us
