Cambridge Water are pleased to publish our final drought plan. The final plan
outlines our strategy for managing periods of drought that may result in
shortages in water resources, in accordance with section 39B of the Water
Industry Act 1991 and the Drought Plan Regulations 2005. The plan also takes
account of environmentally sensitive sites that may be impacted during a
drought period.
The final plan has been prepared and approved by the Secretary of State
following the production of a draft plan in 2006, and a period of consultation
in which a number of constructive representations were received.
No information has been excluded from the plan on the grounds of national
security or for reasons of commercial confidentiality as directed by the
Secretary of State.
