If you have a water meter
Water
If you do have a water meter you pay:
1) A standing charge, which depends on the size of your meter; and
2) A charge based on the amount of cubic metres of water you have used (a cubic metre of water is equivalent to 1000 litres). Customers who use under 4000 m3 will typically be billed every six months. Those who use above 4000m3 may be billed quarterly.

Wastewater
Wastewater services are provided by Anglian Water. They collect, treat and dispose of sewerage and surface water and Cambridge Water collects the charges on their behalf. You only need to pay these charges if your property receives wastewater services.
Visit Anglian Water's wastewater prices page for a full list.

Surface Water Drainage
If none of the surface water from your property drains into the public sewer, either directly or indirectly, you may be entitled to pay a lower standing charge.
